Eco-Friendly Crafty Fun
We make craft time simple for parents and fun for kids! Our top two priorities are our kids and the environment. We design open ended craft projects that are fun for kids and easy on the earth.
Our crafts are for preschool and early elementary kids. With Craft Caravan, parents no longer have to scramble for craft ideas and supplies to entertain their kids. We have a Kids Craft Club to help kids get a regular dose of craft time every month. We also have card making kits, party crafts, and eco-friendly craft supplies so parents can keep the craft cupboard stocked for any occassion.
More about our Crafts for Kids
- Open-ended crafts so that small kids can practice basic crafting skills (such as gluing, cutting, pasting, etc) while older kids can get more sophisticated with their projects
- Seasonal themes to draw on natural interest and generate social awareness. Our Kids Craft Club packages follow the calendar, so kids will easily relate to the craft supplies they receive.
- Idea sheets and fun facts for kids who need guidance to get started. We provide 'Instruction Sheets' that are intended as a jumping-off point for kids. Some kids love the instructions, some kids go where their imaginations take them. It's all good!
- Varied craft techniques and end results to challenge creativity, develop new skills, and extend into creative play
- Packaged in bright green envelope addressed to the child. Kids will take charge of their package as soon as they spot it!

- We work to make sure all craft supplies can be recycled
- We avoid craft foams and plastics
- We minimize packaging and printing, and we print double-sided
- We use paper envelopes for shipping
- We use plant-based sustainable and compostable clear packaging
- All our craft supplies are manufactured in either the USA or Canada
- We integrate eco-awareness into our craft themes and 'fun fact' sheets wherever possible
How We Got Started
We've always loved craft time at our house, but we were getting stressed out about having a simple plan to make things more fun for the kids - our crafty girl has always loved doing crafts, but looked to us for guidance before diving in. So, we decided to get organized and come up with some plans BEFORE craft time (because little ones are not known for their patience!), and everything went much more smoothly for everyone! Our crafty girl no longer had to wait for us before going ahead with her crafts, and our crafty boy was soon big enough to get his hands into everything too!
Now we had some great craft ideas to share, the right craft supplies to use, and even some interesting tidbits of info to share along the way! We started Craft Caravan when we realized there were other parents like us - we weren't the only ones scrambling for craft ideas and supplies to entertain our kids with crafts. We make craft time simple and fun, and that's exactly what busy families need. Now I design the crafts, and put my willing 'testing crew' to work trying them out!
Our projects are run through the ringer by our official 'testing crew' - our 7yr old daughter and our 5 yr old son. We know that if a craft gets their seal of approval, your preschoolers will love it!
